TextNow APN (Access Point Name) is a setting that allows cellular devices with TextNow SIM or eSIM to connect to cellular networks via 4G and 5G networks. A successful internet connection requires a data plan and users to be within network coverage. TextNow uses the T-Mobile network to provide coverage. T-Mobile network has the widest coverage in North America.
APN is the name of the gateway on the network and comes with a number of other settings. Some of them are the type of APN, protocol and more. Set it up below for Android and iOS. If you have any other device, adapt the settings below in their appropriate locations.

APN Settings on Android Phones
Access the APN setting section on Android by navigating to:
- Settings
- Connections / Network & internet / Wireless & internet / More
- Mobile networks / SIMs then select TextNow
- Access point names
- Add / +
Input the TextNow APN settings below on your Android device.

Leave other fields blank or with their default figures.
- Name: TextNow
- APN: textnow.static
- MCC: 310
- MNC: 260 (or try 240 if that doesn’t work)
- APN type: default,mms,supl
- APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
- APN roaming protocol: IPv4/IPv6
- MVNO Type: GID
- MVNO Value: 4358
Save then select TextNow as your active APN.

APN settings section on an iPhone can be located by navigating to:
- Settings
- Cellular / Mobile Data / Mobile Service
- Cellular Data Network / Mobile Data Network
Input the TextNow APN settings below for iPhones.

Input then APN in the LTE and APN section. Leave the username and password fields blank.

Save the settings then turn off and on your Mobile data. You can also restart your iPhone.
