TruConnect APN Settings

TruConnect Access Point Name (APN) is a setting on a mobile device that allows it to connect to a mobile network or the internet. APN is the name of the gateway that mobile devices use to connect to the internet. APN settings provide the necessary information to the Mobile Network Operator (MNO) for authentication, security and connection to the network when there is a data plan and network coverage.

How to set up TruConnect APN 

APN page is normally located under settings for all mobile devices, iPhone and Android devices. If you do not have either an iPhone or Android device, consult your device manual to locate the Access Point Name (APN) section.

How to set up TruConnect APN on Android devices

To set up APN on Samsung Galaxy devices, navigate to:

  1. Settings
  2. Connections
  3. Mobile Networks
  4. Access Point Names

For other Android devices, navigate to:

  1. Settings
  2. Network & Internet
  3. SIMs
  4. Select SIM
  5. Access Point Names

Tap on the + to add APN then input the APN settings on the Appropriate fields.

How to set up TruConnect APN on iPhone

Set up APN on an iPhone by navigating to:

  1. Settings
  2. Cellular
  3. Cellular Data Network

Input the APN then tap back to save.

TruConnect APN Settings for Android Devices

  • Name: TruConnect
  • APN: wap.trueconnect.com
  • Username: guest
  • Password: guest
  • MCC: 310
  • MNC: 410
  • APN type: default,mms,supl
  • APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
  • APN Roaming protocol: IPv4/IPv6

Leave all other fields blank.

Save then select TruConnect as your active APN. Your Android device may need to be restarted for the settings to take effect.

  • APN: wap.trueconnect.com
  • Username: guest
  • Password: guest

Tap the back arrow to save your APN settings.

The same settings are used for APN, LTE and any other field in this section.
