True Wireless APN (Access Point Name) is a setting on cellular devices to connect them to cellular networks in order to receive network services and the internet over 4G and 5G networks. An internet connection requires a data plan and users to be within network coverage. True Wireless uses the T-Mobile network to provide its wireless services so coverage should not be an issue for True Wireless users.
APN is the name of the gateway on the network that cellular devices connect to. This setting however comes with a host of other settings that enable other network service and more. Some of them are the MMS, the type of APN and the protocols in use. I have provided below the settings for Android devices and iPhones. You can always use these settings for any other operating system, and they should work just fine once you locate the APN settings page.
APN Settings on Android Phones
Access the APN setting section on Android by navigating to:
- Settings
- Connections / Network & internet / Wireless & internet / More
- Mobile networks / SIMs then select True Wireless
- Access point names
- Add / +
