US Mobile access point name (APN) is a setting required for internet connection and provisioning of other network services. Other services included in the APN settings are the MMS, email and more.
To successfully access the internet, you will need to be in a place with network coverage, an active sim and US Mobile data plan. Network coverage is normally not an issue since US Mobile uses the T-Mobile network to provide its wireless services. As for an active SIM, if you can see network bars then your SIM is still active. You typically need to purchase a data plan every month.
The fields you have to fill in on an iPhone is normally just the APN section while Android devices add others like the type of APN, protocol and MMSC. other fields may be left blank since they are not needed for US Mobile.
Typically, APN settings are sent by US Mobile automatically when a device is detected on the network for the first time but in some situations, you may need to set them manually. Below are settings for both iOS/iPhones and Android devices.

To access the APN settings section on Android, navigate to:
- Settings
- Connections / Network & internet / Wireless & internet
- Mobile networks / SIMs then select US MObile
- Access point name
- Add / +
Input the US mobile APN setting below for your Android device.

Save the APN then select US Mobile as your active APN. Restart your device.

To access the APN settings on an iPhone, follow the steps below:
- Settings
- Cellular / Mobile Data / Mobile Service
- Cellular Data Network / Mobile Data Network
Input the US Mobile APN below under the APN and LTE sections.
