TracFone access point name (APN) settings, just like any other service provider, are required for 4G and 5G cellular network services access. APN is the name of the gateway in the network provider’s end and the cellular device connects to it. APN settings do not only have the APN but also other settings pertaining to MMS and more.
To successfully get access to network services and connect to the internet, you need to be within network coverage with an active SIM and a data plan. Luckily enough, TracFone uses a carrier with the widest coverage in the United States.
These settings should ideally be sent to your device automatically when it is first detected on the network. In cases where it is not sent, set up the APN settings for your Android device or an iPhone as shown below.
APN Settings on Android
Access APN settings on Android devices by navigating to;
- Settings
- Connections / Wireless & internet / Network & internet / More
- Mobile networks / SIMs then select TracFone SIM.
- Access point name
- Add / +
Input the TracFone APN settings below.

Input the settings below, leave the other section blank or default figures.
- Name: TracFone

- MCC: 310
- MNC: 260
- APN type: default,mms,supl
- APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
Save then select TracFone as your active APN and restart your

Find APN settings page by navigating to:
- Settings
- Cellular / Mobile Data
- Cellular Data Network / Mobile Data Network
