APN in the United States

Access Point Name (APN) is a string of characters set up in mainly cellular devices to authenticate and establish connection to a gateway on the cellular network infrastructure in order access cellular network services. Cellar devices in return receive services like email, internet and more. APN setting in the United States are not as unique to every carrier as it may be assumed. Since many cellular network providers in the United States rely on mainly 3 major carriers, their APNs are mostly the same.

For the major carriers, it is fast.t-mobile.com for T-Mobile, vzwinternet for Verizon and NXTGENPHONE for AT&T.

As for MVNOs, it is wholesale for T-Mobile, ereseller for AT&T and vzwinternet for Verizon carriers.
