Lyca Mobile USA APN (Access Point Name) is a setting on cellular devices that enable it to connect to cellular networks for network service acquisition and to be connected to the internet. Internet connection requires users to have an active data plan and be within network coverage. Lyca Mobile in the United States uses the T-Mobile network infrastructure to provide coverage so connectivity should never be an issue.
APN is basically the name of the gateway on the service provider’s network. This setting comes with a host of other settings like the type of APN, protocol in use and MMS settings. Provided below are settings for Android devices and iPhones. You can always use these settings on any other device.
APN Settings on Android Phones
Access the APN setting section on Android by navigating to:
- Settings
- Connections / Network & internet / Wireless & internet / More
- Mobile networks / SIMs then select Lyca Mobile
- Access point names
- Add / +
Input the Lyca Mobile APN settings below on your Android device.

Input the settings as shown below and leave other fields now shown blank or with their default configuration.
- Name: Lyca Mobile
- APN: data.lycamobile.com
- MMSC: http://lyca.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc
- MCC: 310 (or leave default if any)
- MNC: 960 (or leave default if any)
- APN type: default,mms,supl
- APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
- APN roaming protocol: IPv4/IPv6
Save the settings then select Lyca Mobile as your active APN. Restart your Android device.
If that APN does not work immediately after the restart, change it to wholesale then restart your device.
APN Settings on iPhone / iOS
APN settings section on an iPhone can be located by navigating to:
- Settings
- Cellular / Mobile Data / Mobile Service
- Cellular Data Network / Mobile Data Network
Input the Lyca Mobile APN settings below for iPhones.

Save the settings by tapping the back arrow then turn off then on your mobile data or Airplane mode.
If this does not work immediately, change your APN to wholesale then turn off and on your mobile data.
